stu-stu-studio

i've been in nashville for 73 days and i'm living in a ratty basement in a friends apartment. every day i come home from work someone is high. i take a shower, eat a piece of toast and head back out to a pub or restaurant. between 1am and 8am i return to a dark basement with black plastic bags covering the dirt floors. there are hundreds of beer cans and mildew infested cigarette's quickly filling up the entire room. A cool dampness fills the air as the water pipes run over my head each time someone flushes the toilet. In one corner there is a 8ft by 5ft piece of carpet that is called my bed.this week i found a studio apartment on the eleventh story of a very classy condominium complex on west end ave. it is close to everything, has a stunning balcony that overlooks the country side and city, furnished with a modern twist, and affordable for anyone with a decent job. i put in my application today and i'll hear back tomorrow if i got it. if god cares about little things like where we sleep, this would be a good place to lay my head.

So.. what's the latest on the ap.?
You know, I'm sure your friend is nice and all, after all they are your friend, but honestly that's sad... if you ever come to TX you can have my bed or the other guest bed or couch for as long as you need it..k.?

Yeah we want to know if you have had to continue rooming with the mildew friends in the basement or have decided to try and breath clean air again :)
